Reusable Name Tags To Help You Advertise

By Debra Morris

Are you one of those people that never throw anything away? If you are, then you may be one of the smart ones. There is a new market that has emerged here of late, and that market is demanding to have affordable yet stylish reusable name tags.

Reusable badges show your company logo but allow you to switch out the names of employees as they come and go by simply using a label maker or printing out labels on your office printer. Some name tag and badge plastics also allow you to use a dry erase marker. Blank surname badges offer the ability to interchange any and all text on the badge as well as using a dry erase marker. These badges are the most economical in price but still allow the business to identify their employees.

A harmonious workplace makes for a more profitable work place, it's been my understanding that a company that plays together, stays together. Business will benefit from having reusable surname badges on hand for your 10 year employee who's lost his tag or your new hire that started 10 minutes ago. Today's my first day at work and I don't know a soul here. It sounds like employee surname badges will help solve this problem. While signifying the hierarchy in the company surname badges will also improve employee cohesion by breaking down the initial surname barrier.

Several types of fasteners are available including magnets; tuck pins, rolling clasp pins, strap clips, bull dog swivel clips and pocket protectors. Most popular is the magnet fastener. Magnets do not compromise the integrity of the clothing and cuts down a companys cost of prematurely replacing uniforms. Magnets are not to be used for anyone with a pacemaker.

There are two options when it comes to reusable badges. The first being the blank surname tag. While these tags are not as eye popping as others, they do allow for your own application whether it be on a clear label, colored label or the old fashioned marker (permanent or dry erase). You can turn a blank tag into an eye catcher with a color printer and your standard label maker software.

We've seen full-color recyclable surname tags as low as $1.63. Remember, you're looking for these tags as a long term investment, make sure you find the right company to do the work. It is always a smart move to plan, talk to many companies first, and ask for samples to be mailed out to you. This pre-planning will ensure you find the surname tag company that is willing to go the extra mile for your business.

Once again you may use a clear label or colored label. Also a permanent or dry erase marker can be used. Inherently, the dry erase marker may need a piece of tape to secure the surname for a bit. When you are not too concerned about reusing the tag we recommend the permanent marker. Writing a surname on a tag seems a little rough, however, in some instances it's just what is needed.

Reusable badges are usually made of high-quality and scratch resistant plastic that can be used for many purposes. It is "reusable" because all you have to do is insert a card or piece of solid paper which contains the employee name, logo, or company design. When the time comes that the info is no longer relevant or up-to-date, the paper inside the badge can simply be replaced with something new.
